This workshop is designed to address the complex issue of trauma in Elder Justice and to promote awareness, understanding, and healing for vulnerable populations. The workshop will explore the many different ways in which trauma can manifest, particularly for older adults from diverse backgrounds. Participants will learn practical strategies for promoting resilience and recovery and for creating safe and supportive environments that foster healing. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a greater appreciation for the importance of trauma-informed care and will be better equipped to provide high-quality services to those who have experienced trauma. The workshop is titled "We Belong & Matter" to emphasize the importance of creating inclusive and supportive communities that value the contributions of all individuals regardless of their background or experiences.

It is strongly recommended to have your video on for all Zoom webinars.
