Summary: Ensures that all Home Care Field workers are in compliance with all requirements to maintain or validate their Certificates as Home Health Aides or Personal Care Attendants. This includes a high volume of communication with colleges and potential new hires and requires excellent interpersonal skills. Position is fast- paced and requires significant discretion and flexibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the compliance portion of the New Hire Process for all home care field workers are scheduled in a timely fashion. This includes, medical examination and season flu shots are scheduled. Also ensuring that the medical documentation is approved by the designated JASA Home Care clinical staff member.
  • Ensures that all annual medical examinations are schedule or re- scheduled in a timely fashion. 
  • Ensures that all Field or Staff Evaluations are completed in a timely fashion. This involves a high volume of communication to field workers, coordinators and nursing staff.
  • Ensures that all home care field workers are scheduled to attend semi- annual In- Service Classes in a timely manner.
  • Immediate communication to supervisor when a field worker is out of compliance for any reason.
  • Under supervision draft and send letters to staff when staff are out of compliance.
  • Present at new hire orientations for Home Care Staff.
  • Data entry of all compliance areas utilizing HRIS systems (e.g. Sandata, PayPro, etc.)
  • Ensures that all aides are in compliance at all times by running regular
  • Works as a team member to support the Human Resources department, and fellow Home Care colleagues.
  • Must maintain complete confidentially at all times.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • One to two years of experience in recruitment and/ or general Human Resources Administration.
  • Effective, persuasive English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills.
  • Must maintain confidentially at all times.
  • Ability to travel locally.
  • Fluency preferred in one or more of the following languages: Russian, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Creole.
  • Must be computer literate, including ability to learn and use program- specific software, and internet savvy. Knowledge of current version of Microsoft Office and Google suite required (spreadsheets), word documents, email, calendar, etc.)
  • Must work well in fast- paced team- environment. Patience and a healthy sense of humor will be helpful.
  • Must be able to work nights and some weekends.
