Services - Jewish Programs - Overview

Exploring Traditions

Step inside the realm of Jewish literature, Jewish history, and Jewish philosophy to learn more about the Jewish people. JASA brings together noted scholars, eager students, and fascinating texts to stimulate your mind. To stimulate the palate, JASA conducts community Seders for seniors who might not otherwise be able to celebrate this holiday. It's an annual event that combines tradition with good company and delicious food.

“Being together for the holidays and learning about tradition was always a big part of our family life. Now that we are scattered around the country, it’s reassuring to know there is a Seder for Mom and Dad to attend.”

“I find it a challenge to attend programs through the Institute of Judaic Studies. I have a new chance to explore Jewish values, adding meaning to my life.”
