JASACare steps in when life's chores become too much for the elderly. This hourly fee-for-service home care program provides practical help with personal care and housekeeping. A Registered Nurse is assigned to supervise health matters, such as medication, in cooperation with the personal physician. A Geriatric Care Manager assesses the situation, advises clients, and provides referrals to experts.

Basic services include:

• Meal preparation
• Light cleaning, organizing
• Laundry
• Bathing and dressing
• Companionship
• Monitoring physician's appointments, medications

The Care Manager assesses individual needs to assist with:

• Entitlement/benefits applications
• Housing issues
• Social activities
• Referrals to legal and financial experts
• Medical appointments
