Services - Fee-based Services - Overview

Making Life Manageable

When your aging parent or relative can no longer handle everyday chores, your family member is in danger of losing his or her independence. JASA's fee-for-services program can help you. Chores include housekeeping, bathing, cooking, and laundry. To make sure that basic needs are met, JASA assigns a Geriatric Social Worker to visit your family member at home. JASA also engages Registered Nurses who contact private physicians to monitor medications.

Under a new partnership with Oxford Medicare HMO, JASA links at-risk Oxford-insured seniors to vital community support services, such as Meals on Wheels and food stamps.

JASA offers:

“I was shocked the last time I visited Uncle Henry’s apartment. The kitchen was piled high with dirty dishes and there were papers reaching up to the ceiling. Clearly, he could not cope with mundane chores. When I arranged for JASACare to take over, I knew things would soon be in order.”
