JASA sends trained home attendants to the homes of frail elderly people, under contract with the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA). HRA determines eligibility based on income and need. Prior authorization is required. These services are available on an hourly or live-in basis, under the supervision of Registered Nurses. Home Attendant services are provided by our licensed home care affiliates, Association for Services for the Aged (ASA), and Services for the Aged (SA).
