The Institute of Judaic Studies – a division of JASA's NextAct Sundays at JASA – brings together noted scholars, eager students, and fascinating texts in dynamic and stimulating lectures, courses, and special programs that explore Jewish values and traditions, as well as the Jewish people and their story. You don't have to be Jewish to participate – all are welcome to join in a curriculum encompassing Jewish literature, history, and philosophy.
JASA arranges for frequent Jewish-themed lectures at our Senior Centers. We also conduct community Passover Seders for JASA clients who might not otherwise be able to observe the holiday. As Jews around the world gather to celebrate, JASA brings together our homebound clients to take part in the model service before enjoying the traditional meal*.
* Please Note: JASA also delivers special holiday meals to our clients who are homebound. Others looking for information on community Seders can contact JASA's Help Center at 212.273.5272 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
