Hollywood actors and actresses are under enormous pressure to stay forever young. Join New York magazine film critic David Edelstein as he has some fun at Hollywood’s expense. Mr. Edelstein will look beyond the plastic-surgery horrors and explore the underlying assumptions about aging that trickle down from Hollywood and into American culture through films that inspire us to age gracefully, not gracelessly.
Each lecture $20 with advanced registration and $25 at the door. Advanced registration strongly recommended.
