On December 15th, Assembly Member Phillip Goldfeder and New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn visited JASA’s Rockaway Park Senior Center. Many local seniors attended the question and answer session and had a chance to meet Assemblyman Goldfeder and Speaker Quinn. Speaker Quinn shared with the crowd her fond memories of the Rockaways as a youth. Included among the attendees were JASA’s Director of Community Based Projects Elaine Rockoff, Senior Center Director Fay Schwimmer and Senior Center Assistant Fern Prusak. A great time was had by all.
