On December 20, the “Talent Show” group at JASA’s Scheuer House of Brighton Beach visited residents of Shore View Nursing Home in Brooklyn. The group performed songs in English, Russian, Hebrew and Yiddish. The Nursing Home residence and staff had a great time and were thankful to all the performers for their dedication and talent.
Founded in 2009, the “Talent Show” group at JASA’s Scheuer House of Brighton Beach (one of JASA’s housing complexes) has performed for other seniors on many occasions. The group is organized by Zhanna Reznik who has been running “Musical Poetry Club” at Scheuer House of Brighton Beach since 2002. The group meets three times each week to practice.
