Ms. Gitelson, who joined JASA in 1995 as Queens Borough Director, was named CEO in July 2003. A graduate of Smith College, she received her M.S.W. from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She earned a certificate from the UJA-Federation of New York–sponsored program in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University Business School, and certification from the Harvard Business School in Strategic Planning.
Mr. Goldenberg was named Chief Financial Officer of JASA in March 2005. He holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Moscow School of Economics and Statistics, and was a Certified Public Accountant in Russia.
Ms. Boardman was appointed Chief Operating Officer of JASA in June 2005. She is a graduate of Eckerd College, and previously served as COO of a for-profit home care company and a geriatric care management/home care company.
Ms. Ferster was appointed Chief Services Officer in July 2006, having served JASA as Assistant Executive Vice President of Case Services and Director of Services. She received her B.S. from Cornell University and her M.S.W. from Columbia University.
Mr. Wasser joined JASA in September 2007 with over 20 years of experience in fundraising and development. He earned a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law.
