Aileen Gitelson, Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Gitelson, who joined JASA in 1995 as Queens Borough Director, was named CEO in July 2003.
A graduate of Smith College, she received her M.S.W. from the Columbia University School of Social Work. She earned a certificate from the UJA-Federation of New York–sponsored program in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University Business School, and certification from the Harvard Business School in Strategic Planning.
Leah Ferster, Chief Services Officer
Ms. Ferster was appointed Chief Services Officer in July 2006, having served JASA as Assistant Executive Vice President of Case Services and Director of Services. She received her B.S. from Cornell University and her M.S.W. from Columbia University.
Terry Marks, Chief Development Officer
Ms. Marks joined the JASA staff as Chief Development Officer in August 2011, with a prior Wall Street background and more than 18 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and nonprofit management. She holds a B.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati and has taught and lectured on a national basis for the nonprofit community.
